Fiberglass Shop Foreman - $32.00 - $33.50/Hr + $2.50/Hr Foreman Rate

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Division is currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Shop Foreman. This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.

Activities include:
• Hand laminating, working a chopper gun, and rolling out fiberglass materials
• Vacuum forms and bonds plastics such as ABS, kydex, polycarb, and plex
• Removing and repairing various materials and surfaces
• Fabricating parts from polyester resin and urethane foam
• Make work schedules and assign tasks
• Follow up on jobs and check quality of work
The ideal candidate must possess:
• Ability to prepare a pattern and pull a tool or a part
• Must have previous supervisor experience
• Ability to assemble and install appropriate parts
• Basic knowledge of plastic materials, adhesive and fasteners
• Four years experience in fiberglass assembly and polyester resin/hand laminating
• Good mechanical skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work 3am shift during peak-season
• Ability to work 3am shift on Sunday in the off season

POSITION REQUIRES FULL AVAILABILITY TO WORK A VARIETY OF SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS, NIGHTS, AND HOLIDAYS.
