Summary: The maintenance supervisor is responsible for grounds and facilities maintenance, attractions, and water quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of Park and Department Policies and Procedures Supervise department employees. This includes daily work assignments, training, scheduling, commendation, discipline, etc. Ensure attractions are maintained to the highest levels of Quality, Reliability and Safety Completing daily pre-opening safety inspections of slides and attractions Making general repairs throughout the park as needed Respond to attraction shutdowns during park operation and safely return the attraction to operation Demonstrate and continually train the Six Flags Mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service Provide a work environment that demonstrates leadership, cooperation, policy enforcement, safety, communication and motivation Assist with and perform water treatment job duties All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given moment. Working under pressure to be expected CPO Certified or in process of being certified A working knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations Must have basic knowledge of mechanical systems such as: pumps, pool filtration, motors, irrigation networks, etc. Must possess strong leadership and motivational skills with attention to detail Must possess a valid driver’s license Must be able to access all areas of the park and able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of bending, squatting, and kneeling Must be able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions
